Leaving your current company

To continue contributing to your savings, you need to open an individual RRSP account through the Invest app. Then, reach out to the Wealthsimple Work team (w4w@wealthsimple.com) and we can help you transfer the funds from your Group RRSP to your individual RRSP. That way, you can continue saving for retirement with your own contributions directly from your banking institution.

However, if you are moving to a company with an existing Wealthsimple group plan, you can have those funds transferred into your new group account. Just contact w4w@wealthsimple.com and we’ll help make it happen.
