Transferring to another retirement provider

Wealthsimple Work does not charge any transfer out fees. If your company is switching providers, we require a letter of termination and for the receiving institution to request the transfer directly. We will work with the new institution to ensure the accounts are sent over in a timely manner.

If employees wanted to keep their accounts with Wealthsimple or are no longer associated with the GRSP plan, they have the option to move their funds into a personal RRSP. Please have the employee reach out to w4w@wealthsimple.com to make this request. Once the funds are transferred to a personal RRSP, the employee can choose to remain invested with Wealthsimple or transfer out by having their new institution request a transfer.
